Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai · in progress
A full interior design and fit-out project for an apartment at Jumeirah Beach Residence, covering spatial planning through to turnkey delivery. The plan opens as a single living, dining and kitchen volume, with the private rooms and their bathrooms treated as a quieter, darker sequence behind it.
The living space turns on a walnut-veneer feature wall with a concealed lighting reveal and a pair of halo wall lights; the kitchen island is topped in marble and served by oak stools. Storage is architectural rather than added — full-height oak-veneer wardrobe fronts with dark shadow-gap reveals line the entrance lobby, and the joinery is lined in oak throughout.
Walnut and oak veneer, grey stone and travertine, terrazzo flooring, and brass and bronze fittings. Bathrooms are detailed with fluted walnut vanities, backlit mirrors and lit display niches; the shower sits behind bronze-framed glass.
Joinery, wardrobes and upholstered furniture are produced in Arkenstone’s own 10,000 sq. ft. Dubai atelier, with no outsourcing. See inside the atelier.
