Luxury Villa Interior Concept, Dubai

A Dining Room Held to One Colour

Dubai · concept and mood board stage

A concept study for the dining room of a private villa in Dubai, developed at mood board stage as part of a wider interior design project. What is shown here is a design proposal rather than completed work.

The room is held to a single accent. Burgundy velvet armchairs on turned pedestals ring a walnut table, set against book-matched marble consoles and a marbled canvas that repeats the same reds. A sculptural ribbon installation crosses the ceiling above, lit from a recessed track so the room reads as one composition from every approach.

Scope of Works

  • Dining room concept and spatial planning
  • Furniture and upholstery direction
  • Material and stone selection
  • Feature ceiling and lighting concept
  • Art and accessory direction

Materials & Finishes

Book-matched marble, walnut, and burgundy velvet upholstery, with a sculptural ceiling installation and recessed track lighting. Stone is used as pattern rather than surface, carrying the same reds as the upholstery and the artwork.

Joinery, wardrobes and upholstered furniture are produced in Arkenstone’s own 10,000 sq. ft. Dubai atelier, with no outsourcing. See inside the atelier.
