Dubai, UAE · completed 2025
A private residence redesigned and fitted out in full, turning on a double-height entrance lobby built around a single living planter — an olive tree set into red marble, carried on its own structure with concealed irrigation beneath. Everything else is arranged to be seen from that room. The family living areas run off one side behind fluted screens and chinoiserie panels; the dining room sits under a linear crystal chandelier against a marble feature wall; a Persian rug is mounted along the gallery wall as artwork rather than underfoot. Delivered to handover in 2025.
Book-matched marble throughout — white Calacatta underfoot, deep red and amber slabs used as wall panels — against fluted timber, dark stained oak and green marble to the kitchen. Bronze and brushed brass carry the arches, shelving and consoles. Architectural glass, LED profiles and acoustic panelling are concealed in the joinery, and the planter is lit from within its own structure.
Joinery, wardrobes and upholstered furniture are produced in Arkenstone’s own 10,000 sq. ft. Dubai atelier, with no outsourcing. See inside the atelier.
